What is free?
Upload a clear adult lead-singer photo at the generator, continue with Google and choose Create free image preview. The offer is one image attempt per Google account, subject to a daily limit. Watching examples and preparing your cast are also free.
The preview shows your lead in one frame, with a watermark. It does not preview the other bandmates, movement, lip sync or sound. A failed attempt does not debit video credits; contact support if it cannot finish. If a response is interrupted, check the saved preview instead of submitting another request.
Preview images and their original frames are kept for 7 days. Use the saved photo and the same performance style to reuse the original frame in a paid video while it remains available. Changing the photo or style, or using an expired preview, requires normal image generation. Finished video results can still vary.
How much should you budget?
Credit packs stay the same: $9.99 for 20, $24.99 for 60 and $69.99 for 200. Choose the style and resolution first, then use this table to see how many complete videos each pack covers on its own. Unused credits stay in your balance and can be combined with another purchase.
| Style and resolution | Credits per video | 20-credit pack | 60-credit pack | 200-credit pack |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard · 480p | 20 | 1 video | 3 videos | 10 videos |
| Closer to original · 480p | 30 | Top-up only | 2 videos | 6 videos + 20 credits left |
| Standard · 720p | 40 | Top-up only | 1 video + 20 credits left | 5 videos |
| Closer to original · 720p | 50 | Top-up only | 1 video + 10 credits left | 4 videos |
With no existing balance, the lowest purchase for Standard 480p is $9.99. Closer to original 480p or Standard 720p can be funded with two $9.99 packs ($19.98 for 40 credits). Closer to original 720p is covered by the $24.99 pack. Check your existing balance before buying; you do not need a new pack for every video. Buying credits does not automatically start generation.
These are one-time USD prices, with no subscription or scheduled credit expiry. Confirm the final amount at checkout.
Does adding four friends cost more?
One lead photo and a full five-person cast have the same cost at a given style and resolution. The lead singer is required; keyboard, saxophone and two backing singers are optional. Every request produces a 19-second, 9:16 video with sound. Standard costs 20 credits at 480p or 40 at 720p; Closer to original costs 30 at 480p or 50 at 720p. You do not buy a separate video for each person. See the creation guide for the roles.
Budget for separate takes, not separate faces. One video starring your friend and another starring you are two generations. A successful result may differ from what you imagined; a fresh creative attempt is another paid generation. Choose the cast carefully before submitting rather than buying a large pack on the assumption that every take will look identical.
Free alternatives to check
CapCut templates: you can edit photos or existing clips with a free template, but this does not necessarily generate a new cast performance. Check the required inputs and the export screen; Pro assets or paid templates can require payment. The CapCut template guide explains what to check.
Kling: if your account offers promotional credits, check whether they cover the image-to-video model and clip length you need. Current free-credit availability has not been verified here. You may need to prepare the scene and add sound separately; do not assume a free account includes a complete Outstanding video.
What does “free” mean on other Tiny Desk sites?
A free account, prompt, image preview and finished video are different offers. Check what you can actually download and how much must be paid first. A promotional credit balance only covers a video if it meets the charge for the duration and resolution you select.
For a fair comparison, match the cast controls, clip length, resolution and included audio, then compare the smallest purchase that covers that output. The generator comparison separates a short paid trial from the cost of a longer clip. aitinydesk.app offers one free lead-image attempt, not a free finished video.
What happens to your credits if generation fails?
AI Tiny Desk returns the generation credits once a task is confirmed as failed. A task still being checked is not yet a confirmed failure. If the connection drops after submission, check My videos before starting another take: a request may already have been accepted even if the page did not show its confirmation.
Returned credits stay in your account balance. A refund to your payment method is a separate request reviewed against payment status and credit use. Read the refund policy; do not assume a failed task automatically sends money back to your card.
Make the first paid attempt count
Start with one clear adult portrait per selected role and permission to use each photo. The photo guide explains which pictures to prepare. Review your cast, style, resolution and the displayed credit cost, then continue with Google. Select Closer to original for closer movement and cut timing; select 720p for higher resolution. When comparing alternatives, use the generator comparison to check the actual scene, duration and sound as well as price.
Frequently asked questions
Can I upload one photo and get a free finished video?
No. You can choose photos without paying, but submitting a video requires credits. The step-by-step creation guide covers photo selection, settings and downloading.
Does the paid video include sound?
Yes. The 19-second vertical MP4 includes the preset Outstanding performance soundtrack. It does not include a commercial music license.
Is this a subscription?
No. Credit packs are one-time purchases. Buying credits does not start generation automatically.
