Which Tiny Desk CapCut template are you opening?
One link associated with Outstanding Tiny Desk tutorials leads to a CapCut template named hh, by Esme70275. Its public page lists October 24, 2026, one required clip and a 9:16 aspect ratio. The page was checked on October 27. The Seadanse tutorial analysis is the source connecting this particular link to the trend.
Those details identify the template and its input slot; they do not establish every effect it applies. We have not generated an output with it. A single upload slot is not proof that a template can or cannot replace several faces. Check its own preview, instructions and controls instead of assuming every link called Tiny Desk works alike.
Do you want an edit, a new cast or finishing touches?
Start with the change you want to make. Putting a photo into a timed edit, assigning a friend to the saxophone, and adding captions to a finished video are separate tasks. A product may combine them, but the name of the trend alone does not tell you which controls it offers.
Use the input screen to make the decision. If choosing who plays each instrument matters, look for explicit role assignments. If you already have the performance you want, an editor can be the next step.
| Your goal | What to check |
|---|---|
| Use a shared CapCut edit | Required media slots, effects, preview and export conditions for that exact template. |
| Put particular friends in band roles | Separate controls identifying the lead, keyboard, saxophone and backing singers. |
| Add a caption or trim a finished result | Import your completed MP4 into an editor and review the exported copy. |
How do you open a shared template on your phone?
CapCut's official template instructions describe opening a template link from a TikTok video in the CapCut mobile app. For a link that is available to your account:
- Open the post containing the template link and tap that link.
- Choose the option to use the template in CapCut.
- Select the photos or video requested by that template.
- Open the preview and check what changed.
- Review any export requirements or price before exporting.
This is CapCut's documented mobile flow, not a claim that we have tested the hh template on your device. Keep the original photos until you have a result you want to save.
Why is the template missing or different on a computer?
Template availability can differ by platform, app version, region and account. CapCut's missing-template help also identifies sign-in and network issues. Its help pages describe different levels of desktop access, so a working mobile link is not a promise of identical desktop controls.
First verify the creator's link, update the app, sign in if required and check the connection. For a TikTok-linked template, try its documented mobile entry point. If that exact template remains unavailable, choose an accessible alternative or contact CapCut support. Repeatedly searching the same title cannot make a removed or unavailable template appear.
Does the preview actually put your friends in the band?
After selecting your media, watch the resulting preview all the way through. Check whether your photo appears as a still image, whether one person changes, or whether several people are assigned to different shots. These are different outcomes, even if the template's example shows the same concert.
If you want five particular friends, look for a way to identify each person and each destination role. A demo featuring five people does not itself explain how your five inputs will be used. Do not treat a saved demo or a screenshot of the example as a successful personalized result. If the preview does not do the job you need, reconsider the workflow before paying for an export.
How does AI Tiny Desk assign the cast?
In the AI Tiny Desk generator, one photo is required for the lead singer. You can add separate photos for the keyboard player, saxophone player, left backing singer and right backing singer. Unfilled optional roles keep the performers from the reference case. Your lead photo does not automatically become every member of the band.
Choose JPG, PNG or WebP images up to 10 MB each, showing adults who have agreed to their use. If your friends are in one group photo, prepare a separate crop for each selected person. The photo guide explains that preparation.
The preset is 19 seconds at 480p with a 9:16 portrait setting and a fixed performance and soundtrack. There is no prompt box. Submission requires Google sign-in, sufficient credits and an available generation control. A video costs 20 credits; check current availability and prices before purchasing. Likeness, motion and framing can vary.
Can you finish the video in CapCut, and is it free?
CapCut is optional after generation. Download your completed MP4, import it into the editor you use, and add the captions or cuts you want. Review the final export with sound: changing the timing or replacing audio changes the performance you share. Keep your original download so you can return to it.
Do not assume a template is free because its public page has no price. Check the template and export screens for any charges. AI Tiny Desk's creator examples are free to watch; submitting a personalized video uses credits. Buying credits and submitting a generation are separate actions. For saving the finished file and posting it outside your account, follow the download and sharing steps.
